When You Need Control, Choose a Two Way Valve

Water is something that we all rely on. We use it for cleaning our home, office, body, and more. We depend on it always being there, waiting for us to need it. Without water pipes, fittings, pumps, we know that it could easily stop flowing where we want it to go. What you may not realize is that all of those things need other pieces to work even more efficiently. For instance, to turn the water on or off for repairs or rerouting of the water lines. When you need to control of water, you should choose a two way valve. It is a single piece that makes everything else user-friendly.

Just take a moment and think about the water that is deep underground. Rivers, streams, and more are what feeds it. Underground, there are areas that act as a sponge and hold water. For us to get it, without being near a river, we have to dig deep and run pipes. Since that water barely moves, we have to then pull it up to the surface. This happens because of pumps. Pipes and fittings then allow it to go where we need it the most.

The problem with water is that even though it is awesome to have easy access to, it can also make a mess of things. Pipes go bad and tiny leaks under our home or in our floors can lead to mold, mildew, rot, and a host of other problems. We control it, but at times it may take our control away from us.

This is where water control valves come in. They give us back the control that we desire. We choose when the water comes into our house. We control when it comes into our business. All it takes is a turn of the knob. Water is then turned on or off.

The on or off feature stems from a simple valve that is somewhat complex. A two way ball valve can open to allow water or close to stop it from flowing. You choose.

The two way valve is different from a faucet knob. Faucets are meant to control the water at any given moment so that it cannot come out of the pipes. They are meant to be used daily or several times a day. The two way is one that we rarely use, but are happy we have when we face plumbing problems.
